How to complete the "complete 1 chat" step?

...See more I'm a listener and I'm trying to complete the progress step which is taking a general request and finishing one chat (30 messages). I've been stuck on this step for a while despite having done multiple chats already. I've done the "try something else" option multiple times, but it eventually brings me back to the general chat step.
