Religion and Cisgender Expectations

...See more Hi, I’m LDSaint. I’ve been trying to mentally desist from nonbinary to cisgender again because I miss The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, not to say I’m inactive. Anyway, I’m just confused about the roles between cis men and cis women. I often wonder who I would be today if I didn’t know my assigned sex (though that’s nearly impossible with the many, but not all blue and pink gender reveals). I wonder if my mannerisms, hobbies, friends, etc. would all be different. To respect the Sabbath, at church guys wear a suit and tie and girls wear a dress. It’s hard to know what to wear when I’m not sure who I am or why I am the way that I am. I may get to do whatever I want, but in the end I want to respect Heavenly Father (God) and be with Him again. I want to go to a sacred place called the temple where I can give people who have died (with the same assigned sex as me) the opportunity to make covenants with Heavenly Father. It’s hard to do that when I don’t know who I am. All that I know is that I’m beloved. I’m grateful we all are. You’re welcome to share your thoughts, experiences, etc. Thank you for reading.
