...See more Good afternoon, my friends. Today is my 47th birthday. It’s a quiet one. I find myself away from family, sitting with hours and minutes that feel heavy, and a lack of motivation that makes even small things feel like mountains. It’s a strange paradox to feel so empty on a day that is supposed to celebrate existence. But as I sit here, I realize that while the fire of my own motivation may be dim, the ember is still warm. I am still breathing. I am still here. And I am still able to offer a hand to someone else who might be struggling today. I don’t have the energy to celebrate myself. But I have the energy to sit with you, to listen, and to remind you that you are not alone in your loneliness. Maybe that is the quiet gift of today. Not balloons or cake, but presence. For myself, and for you. If you are feeling lost, unmotivated, or forgotten today, let’s sit in this space together. We don't have to fix it. We just have to be here. Thank you for being a community where I can be honest about the struggle, yet still be seen as someone who can help. Yours in solidarity, A 47-year-old soul, still learning how to live.
