...See more Hi, I have Autism and my work does not know of it. I work in Retail. My job has been receiving customer complaints about me. My manager told me this in an arrogant way. I started to have fears of getting fired. I have been fired before over this stuff. I have been considering telling them that I have Autism. I hope this will reduce the risk of losing my job. Should I tell my employer about my disability or not? I am experiencing too much anxiety over this.

...See more I find it difficult to socialise with people I do not know very well, such as family members, co-workers because I get too nervous and can not speak. I sort of withdraw into myself or say really high squeaky hellos and then nothing at all. Some people have called me weird for not communicating properly.... I also find it difficult to join in when all my friends are talking together. Do any of use experience this? How can I open up more and stop being so nervous?
