Need advice about our situation

...See more So two weeks ago my ex boyfriend broke up with me. We were having some issues on my part that I kept pushing off as I felt we were doing okay. Long story short, he wasnt happy dating me, but said we had a real connection before it went bad and I needed to find myself and get help. (Ive suffered with depression and a few other mental disorders that Ive improved a lot throughout the years already) He said maybe on the future we could get back together, and we talk occasionally here and there, but I want to ask him more about what he means by that. Should I attempt to bring it up? Ask him about moving on or if we would wait for each other? Im not entirely sure as Im trying to fix the issues without making it seem like its for him because its not, but would like to know if we have a shot in the future and if I should try to bring it up somehow without igniting some discomfort on his part.
