You start dying slowly when you destroy your self-esteem, when you do not let others help you. You start dying slowly if you become a slave of your habits, walking every day on the same path. If you do not change your routine, if you do not wear different colours or you don't speak to those you don't know. You start dying slowly if you avoid feeling passion and their turbulent emotions, those that make your eyes glisten and your heartbeat fast. You start dying slowly if you do not change your life when you are not satisfied with your job or love, If you do not risk what is safe for the uncertain, if you do not go after a dream. I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, in secret between the shadow and the soul. I love you as the plant that never blooms but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers. Thanks to your love, a certain solid fragrance, risen from the earth lives darkly in my body. I love you without knowing how or when or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride. So i love you because i know no other way than this. Where I does not exist, nor you. So close that your hand on my chest is your hand. So close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.
