...See more I've struggled with depression for a majority of my life. I've recently graduated high school and now work 50+ hour weeks at a job I don't like and make not so great pay, but I have no motivation to change my occupation or get more schooling. Recently I've been pushing away what few friends I have, I find that I don't really care to be around ppl and make excuses to avoid friends. I feel extremely lonely, yet I do these kinda things.... I feel like I almost want to hate everything and just isloate myself. I always feel angry and hopeless, and it's greatly affected my work, I've almost been fired so many times. One of my greatest struggles is getting over my ex-girlfriend. We dated for a year, and it was absolutely the most magical thing in my life, she was the best thing that happened to me. We've been separated for about a year and half, and I still miss her more than ever. I've tried so hard to get over her and try meeting new girls and going on dates, but no one takes any interest in me, and the one or two dates I have been on, I'm just comparing them to my Ex, which makes it seem all the more hopeless.... How am I ever going to find someone else who can even slightly compare to her I just feel utterly hopeless and don't want to bother with anything or anyone, and just wish to slip away
