To quickly summarize myself, I'm a single mother who suffers from anxiety. I work in a very stressful field. I feel that I can be most helpful in topics that I have experienced in my life. I know what it's like to have life crash down on me, I know what it feels like to feel like there is no going up. I know first hand what it's like to lose hope. I know the feeling of wanting to be listened to. In my experience, often, when people "listen", they want to shove their advice and opinions at you. I don't want our conversations to be like that. It can make situations more frustrating. I know what it's like. I want to be the listening ear that actually listens.
