Hi,

     I’m a 48 year old woman. Mother, wife, sister, friend. I’ve known love, loss and everything in between! 

I’ve been a single parent in the past, struggling to make ends meet but doing it anyway (just!).

I’ve navigated my way through toxic relationships and made it out the other side through sheer determination and I believe, used my experiences to learn and grow.

My employment background is in childcare and education and learning disability support work. I’ve loved both sectors immensely but due to chronic illness, (ME & Fibromyalgia), I was forced to stop working a couple of years ago. It was a very difficult thing to have to do but ultimately my body made the decision for me.

I still feel I could be useful in some way and I’d love the opportunity to offer someone some help and support in some way. 

I’ve been fortunate enough to have lots of therapy over the years through various charities and I’d love to pay it forward in some way. I have been a voluntary befriender to an elderly lady through Age UK for the past 7 years which has been therapeutic for both of us! I’m hopeful the same thing could happen with someone else too.
