...See more Hi my name is Lyannie, I’ve been married to my husband for 7 years. The first 3-4 years he cheated multiple times and was physically and emotionally abusive but I stayed because I knew he could be better and he has gotten better. He hasn’t done any of those things since 2019. I have bipolar disorder and other emotional issues such as abandonment issues and trust issues. Here’s the problem, I’ve know this other guy since elementary school we’ve always had a connection but never pursued anything. In the beginning of this month we started communicating again after about 2 years . We talked everyday for about 2 weeks and we opened up to each other about our current struggles and I felt comfortable and heard for the first time in a long time. My husband isn’t really emotionally available because that’s just how he is. But this other guy was . A few days ago he ghosted me and I don’t understand why . Yes we flirted here and there and a few times he’s told me if he starts to catch feelings he would take a step back but I never thought it would mean completely cutting off communication . I miss talking to him and feeling heard and having someone to open up to who I assume cared . I need opinions.. Does this mean I have feelings for him ? Does this mean he never really cared if he ghosted me ? I just miss having a friend to talk to every day who didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience.
