Bio
Hi! I grew up in a big family, and as a millennial, I’ve had my share of life’s ups and downs. I’ve experienced grief, depression, body-image struggles, family difficulties, religious struggles, financial hardship, childhood trauma, and many other challenges. Some of these are things I’ve healed from, while others are things I’m still learning and growing through.
One thing I’ve learned from my own experiences is that there are some wounds that can be difficult to explain to someone who hasn’t experienced them. That doesn’t mean someone has to live through the same thing to have empathy or understanding, but sometimes it can be comforting to talk to someone who genuinely knows what that particular kind of pain feels like.
That’s one of the reasons I’m here. I want to be a kind, patient, and nonjudgmental person you can talk to without feeling like you have to explain, minimize, or justify what you’re feeling. Whether you need to vent, sort through something, talk about something you’ve been carrying for a long time, or simply have someone listen, I’m here.
I don’t believe that going through difficult things has to be meaningless. If some of the pain I’ve experienced—and the things I’ve learned while healing from it—can make someone else feel a little less alone, then I’d like to turn something negative into something positive.
You don’t have to have the right words, and you don’t have to have everything figured out. You’re welcome here exactly as you are. ♥️
