...See more Hello all, I am new here, and I don’t generally share my feelings like this, but I thought it would be healthy to try it out. I am just an overwhelmed mama of two, I have a 5 year old daughter and a 2 year old daughter. I am a stay at home mom and a full time student. I am working on getting my BSW online. With juggling the girls, school, and the household I just feel completely overwhelmed. My husband works and provides, which I do appreciate, but when he’s home with us he’s checked out and doesn’t help me. I clean, cook, look after the girls and maintain my good grades in school I literally have no time for myself. I love my husband, but it just feels like we’re at a standstill - he thinks he does enough providing for the family, and I feel like I need help and a break at times. It’s a tale as old as time. He’s really into collecting Pokémon right now, which is fine, but he goes over board with it at times. He’s also always on his phone and playing Fortnite. There are a lot of times I feel un heard. I moved out here with him 3 years ago so I have no family or friends which is very isolating. I recently saw a psychiatrist and got on some antidepressants and anti anxiety medications, which have helped, but I still feel trapped in this cycle. I love my girls more than anything, I love our family, but it’s just been so hard since my second daughter was born. I guess I just needed to vent, I’ve been enjoying reading the other posts on this forum, it makes me feel like it’s a safe place to share! Thank you!
