Regular Depression/Bipolar type 2

...See more I'm 22 and have been diagnosed with depression again, I've had it on and off since my teens. I've done research online, and feel I match some of the criteria for bipolar type 2! i get mood swings. For example, someone can say something that I logically know is nothing to worry about. However, it upsets me for weeks. I could be having a really nice time, then feel like crying for no reason! These things happen, day to day but I'm really good at hiding it. I really don't cope well with stress. It is usually a stressfull situation that makes me realise that I'm depressed. For example, I have recently resigned from my first graduate job. Since the first 4 weeks of starting, I was put on stronger antidepressants! I'm still on them now and still feel depressed even tho the 'stressor' has gone. In the periods when I'm not depressed, I feel completely fine and happy, I still get the daily mood swings, but I can hide them and the sadness I get when I'm 'depressed ' does not take over. I'm not sure if my behaviour is normal for someone with depression. Or if it is something like bipolar? Sorry this is my first post on the depression community, I hope I'm using the forums correctly#new to 7 cups! :) xx
