...See more Tonight I found myself having a breakdown while driving home from a yoga class. I didn't want to come home anymore. My fear of my uncertain future engulfed me, and the stress of money, family, school/career came crashing down in a singular moment and although i hate feeling lonely during the holidays, I want nothing more than to just be alone. My parents and I are fighting more often, they continue to jump to conclusions and make assumptions about me. I can't have a proper conversation with them without something going wrong. Hell i can't even be silent and keep to myself because that apparently means i have an attitude. I hate the holidays, because any meaning its suppose to have has been thrown out the window by my parents. (Who gives a shit about appreciating people and family anymore? Love? Pshh that's dumb) I can't ignore the fact that I don't think i'm a priority in my own life anymore, I can't enjoy reading books or daydreaming without feeling pathetic. I'm so tired of trying to keep things together, and everything i'm trying to hold on to seems to be slipping out of my fingers.  I'm a 23 year old college senior, I don't have a job and I'm a full time art student.  These feelings are too much to handle and i don't know what to do anymore to stop crying and refocus. If only i could just disappear for a little while, just so I can be alone and figure my whole mess out. Oh and somehow have my parents understand my feelings and concerns without them pushing them aside as minor complaints when compared to their own problems. If only i had my own fortress of solitude/bat cave/hobbit hole/broom closet...
