My name is Carla and I am a Verified Active Listener here at 7 cups.  I have struggled with anxiety and an eating disorder since I was a child, and depression for most of my adult life. I am also a cis gendered female who happens to be a pansexual. I am a Mum and a wife, and the issues you and I have do not define us as people. You'll find me hanging out in the Anxiety support group and also in the LGBTQ+ group chats too :)



I know the struggle some of you are feeling every day so I am here to listen, to talk things through with you and together, we will get through this.

So helpful. Responded right away and gave sensible and empathic advice/replies. She even checked up on me the day after. I felt actually listened to, not that I was just typing to someone. Her replies were thoughtful and she was very attentive to my feelings, just the right amount of sensitivity as well.
Absolutely superior listener!!! She is very wise, patient, tolerant and non judgmental. She really made me feel better when I was feeling so bad...just excellent.
This was the first time I felt like somebody understood what i was saying and didn't belittle me for expressing the way I feel about my problems. it was extremely cathartic for me and the feedback showed a genuine empathy and understanding of my issue.
