...See more Depression: (n) feelings of severe despondency and dejection. Anyone can fall victim to depression. It's a constant feeling of sadness and it can be overwhelming. Depression comes in many forms, can be triggered by nearly everything, and has a different effect on everyone. So tell me, how has depression effected  you? There are people who use this as a title and flaunt it like jewelry. I assume that if you're reading this you aren't one of those people. As a person who has dealt with depression, I can tell you once  you have it, it doesn't truly go away. Like I said, it can be triggered by anything.  It has different effects on people as well. Some may feel suicidal and it can be linked to depression. Some may feel weak and tired. Not everyone feels the same, so don't assume anything about somebody's case. It can be caused by the people you surround yourself with to the environment you live in.  I'm not going to write a lot in this forum. This is just a brief outline of depression. If you're dealing with any type of depression, leave a comment. I can't get back to everyone, but I can sure try. You're not alone. I take this forum as an opportunity to reach out to those who feel that they can't hold on. That is exactly what this post is about. Reaching out. It all starts with you.
