...See more My girlfriend (11 months) and I have gotten into a few arguments the past few months. I have had a lot of stress in my life during this time. When we butt heads I get frustrated that I feel like she isn’t hearing how stressed I have been and all that matters is how she feels. She ended up saying we need to take a break and she doesn’t know how long it will take but it might be 2-3 months. I can’t stand the thought that she would string me along for 3 months and then end things. We just got back from a international vacation (I got stressed and sick) then came back and I got sick again during Thanksgiving week so I couldn’t see my family. I feel like she didn’t want to break up with me right now because it would look bad on her reputation (we live in a small town). I agreed to this break but we agreed to open communication. I texted her an apology but she never responded. She then comes to my work multiple times and talks to me and tells me how she misses talking to me but she has been texting my roommate and says she forgot to text me back multiple times. I feel like my emotions are being toyed with. I don’t want to play games because I’m 30 and I don’t want to wait for someone who doesn’t want to commit to me.
