...See more Hi, my name is April. I'm new here, so I apologize if I'm doing this wrong or posting in the wrong area. I've been trying to beat my depression since I was ten years old. Lately I've been feeling like it's winning the fight. There's just a lot going on with school, my family, and yesterday my cat died very unexpectedly. These past few days have been unbearable. It's been so hard that last night I relapsed to the addiction I had been clean from for almost a year. Last night I read Jesus' sermon on the mount and that made me feel so much better. Still, I know that I need some more help. I can't keep living like this. Sometimes I feel like I want to just be gone, but I would never do that to my mom. I just want peace and to be happy.
