Question about the chat buttons

...See more Hey friends, I have a question. In the chat window, there's a button on the left that reads "Click here when done chatting". But also on the top, there's a button with the symbol of on/off, that also closes the chat. My question is, is there any difference between them? Which one should I use? I ask it because every time I finish a chat, I'm concerned about the other person having their window abruptly closed because of me or something like that, haha. I don't want to be rude, so hopefully you can help me. :)
