...See more Back in January I got food poisoning living abroad. And as if that wasn't bad enough I got horrible stomach pains whenever I ate for about a week and a half before I finally consulted a doctor and learned that my stomach had developed too much acid. Ever since then I've had a really hard time with food. The smallest things send my stomach through a work of pain and discomfort. I can't enjoy food like I used to anymore. Part of me thinks my stomach pains go hand in hand with my anxiety but the other part of me think I may have developed a physical health problem. Its so difficult to describe my situation to people because it's not quite anxiety and it's not really an eating disorder. But I kinda consider it an eating disorder. For the longest time I was scared to eat. And it was so painful to sit around, hungry but actually scared of how I would react to food. I couldn't eat at restaurants for a couple months because the smells of the food would make me nauseous. The worst part is that I was getting so much better. I could eat and not think of the consequences but I just moved 8 hours away from home for college. And now the smallest things send me to the bathroom, kneeled over in fear that I'm about to hurl. Is there anyone else out there experiencing the same?
