...See more I've been going through Depression for a while now, and the worst thing I can hear from the people that are close to me is that I need to "snap out of it" or I need to stop being down all the time. That's not how Depression works. By saying I need to stop being down all the time, that's implying that I have a choice to be happy. I don't choose to be depressed. I don't think anybody would want to be depressed...Just because you can't see depression doesn't mean it isn't real. Just because you aren't depressed doesn't mean that depressed people don't feel pain. Pain is pain regardless, and mental illness needs to be treated like physical illnesses. The stigma needs to end. Having a mental illness doesn't mean you are doing stuff for attention. Nobody deserves to suffer. Anyways, whatever, sorry for this long post. If you have read through everything say, peaches lol... I don't know why I choose peaches out of all things... Stay strong! ❣
