I know you've completed the necessary training to become a listener, and I'm not in a position to say this, but I'm feeling frustrated after a recent conversation. It's not just about one person; it's based on my experience and that of others. 1. 7cups isn't a dating site: People come here seeking support for mental health issues. Please don't try to flirt or take advantage of their vulnerability. 2. Avoid judging:Don't judge members based on where they're from, their financial situation, or their job. This platform is meant to be a safe space, and judgment makes it hard for people to open up. 3. Maintain boundaries: Refrain from using terms like "baby" or "honey." Not everyone is comfortable with it, and it can make members feel uneasy. Also, avoid asking personal questions or pressuring them to share personal details. 4. Respect the conversation: Some listeners steer conversations towards dating, even when it's unrelated to the member's issue. Remember, not every problem revolves around dating. 5. Keep it anonymous:Don't push members to reveal their location or personal information. This platform thrives on anonymity. 6. Be considerate: Many members are dealing with serious issues, and careless behaviour from listeners could make things worse. Remember your responsibility towards them. If this post offends anyone, I apologise for that. Let's work together to create a supportive environment for everyone.

...See more Today while I was infront of mirror , a thought came in my mind - Do I feel proud of myself ? I have gone through many bad things in my life and I may not be at that point as compared to my friends . Maybe I am just a loser for them or maybe they envy my life. But what do I feel about myself. I looked in my eyes and I thought the answer might be No because lately I am feeling I failed in life but to my surprise , I felt I do feel proud of myself. so what about you ? ...See more As we grow older, we keep losing people, dreams, and sometimes ourselves. Yeah, we gain a lot too. But I am talking about the feeling of loss that gets created inside of us as we lose people, dreams, etc. Even though we move on and get busy with life, that feeling is still there, and it never goes away. So, how do you achieve a state of inner peace or joy while being in this loss state? There is a line that comes to mind from one of the web series "The Good Place": ‘Every human is a little bit sad all the time.' That brings up the question: Can we really ever feel peace and happiness?

...See more Does persistent sadness ever leaves us ? Is it possible to feel happy ever again ? I have been depressed since many years but it was manageable that time. Now I feel like I cant take it anymore. Medications, exercise, therapy nothing works. I feel like I am back to square one. Dont know if I will be able to overcome this .

...See more I have been dealing with anxiety issues since many years. For any situation my first reaction was to feel anxious . I was in therapy for couple of times and during my last therapy, I thought I was doing really good and overcame this issue. But recently I have been to same situations and it triggered the anxiety issues in me. I am falling back to the same pattern again. not sure how to deal with it. Its exhausting 😞😞😞
