Job Loss Rant
Trauma Support / by OtakuMagicGirl2256

...See more I don't know if this counts as trauma, but this happened almost a year ago and I still cannot get over it. I need to vent. I worked in a library for three years, and it was a wonderful place to work until my stupid self kept making mistakes all the time. I didn't mean to screw stuff up. It just happens! From then on, I wasn't given any tasks to do or projects to complete while everyone else was trusted with everything. It made me feel useless and stupid, unwanted and a burden. We had a pet fish in our department, and my boss/coworkers were not taking good care of it. They would neglect cleaning the tank and the filter for it kept breaking down. I would offer to help (my family has taken care of beta fish before so I have experience,) but they were too scared that I would screw it up so they told me to stay away. Few days later, the fish died. When I told a coworker I thought I could trust about my concerns, they told my boss/other coworkers and the incident happened. I walked into work, and got into a huge fight with a coworker. I was crying and getting upset, which "is what babies do" according to my coworker. I was sent home by a superior and I quit on the spot. I was pushed far past my breaking point, and yet I am the one who gets no sympathy or pity. I am the bad guy, apparently. A title I never wanted but earned from my coworkers. It's been almost a year and that heck-scape of a job still haunts me to this day. I want to stop thinking about that fight, my coworkers, my boss, the fish, my mistakes, and the heck I went through. I want to move on. But my brain wont let me. I think about it every day, hour, second. It keeps me up at night and makes me very depressed and angry. I'm trying different coping techniques and medications and NOTHING is working. I don't know what to do. I want these demonic thoughts to stop. How do I make them stop? Can they even be stopped to begin with?

Immature Me
Depression Support / by OtakuMagicGirl2256

...See more I didn't know where to put this, so I put it under "Depression Support" because that's what I have. It's just a ramble, but I wanted to get it off my chest. I'm sorry my thoughts are not coherent. I go through periods where I act like a kid, in terms of what activities I do and what interests me. For example, lately I've been watching a lot of "Hello Kitty and Friends" videos and collecting Sanrio merch. Most adults consider the Sanrio franchise as "for kids only." It makes me wonder why I'm like this. Is it because I'm immature, or because sometimes I need to consume media that isn't so close to my awful reality? People call me immature for a lot of reasons: Liking media aimed towards children, dressing in girly T-shirts and hair bows, and (more often than not) for getting over-emotional all the time. I cry easily. I anger easily. I wish I can get happy easily, but I can't. It's just the negative emotions that are intense and quick. I even lost my previous job because I cared too much about how my superiors were mistreating myself, my coworkers, and especialy the company pets (a gecko and a beta fish.) All my life, I have been labeled "immature" and "too sensative." Am I just an adult-baby? It makes me wonder if I'm too immature and sensative to survive life.
