...See more Since 2024 my life just feels overwhelming - for one I quit my corp job and is enrolled in grad school for a career change (In hindsight I wish I made the choice sooner). I love school and what I’m Learning- it’s just that I can’t work while I’m in school so I’m essentially living off student loans. The work is tough but I love it. What’s overwhelming me is not having a job, my personal life is dry. I’m mainly home, and on social media, I’m single, the state of this world is so grim. My self esteem is at an all time low. My health could be better. I have PCOS so I struggle daily with managing the symptoms. I often find myself wishing I was someone else. I want a break from being myself and all the things I’ve been through and currently facing. I find myself finding peace In reading BL manhwas… I think their creators share interesting stories about love and romance… something I wish could feel with a significant other… for context I’m a Christian. But lately I have no desire to read the bible… I wish I was better at it. I know I’m probably gonna need therapy but it’s pricy for now so I’m back on this app hoping someone understands how I feel and maybe can help from an objective perspective.
