...See more Living with complex-PTSD is something I'm used to and unfortunately have had to learn to live with for most my life. The thing I never want to expect is to live with more trauma. I was brutally raped a few weeks ago and since then it's all come back. I'm back to being the terrified and tormented minuscule person I've had to fight to not be so many times. I can no longer sleep alone, Im having panic attacks and episodes and I've had to go back in anti-anxiety medication. My best friend is in the ICU fighting for her life and like I'm drowning in grief and loss. I'm sad I'm hurt and I miss the other loved ones I've lost this past year. I feel like I'm losing myself

...See more I know I have a problem but I always end up going back. I don't use or drink everyday but when I do it's catastrophic. No matter how much time passes once I get it in my system I've screwed up everything I've worked towards. Last weekend I blew away $1000 for something I needed just to go on a binge and party. Once it's in my system I can't stop no matter what I tell myself, I can't stop. I don't drink everyday and sometimes for months on end but each time is as catastrophic as the last.
