When you were a kid you made up stories and told them over and over again, trying on new hats, inventing craziness, and exploring new situations until one day someone pointed out that you were contradicting yourself.
Maybe they just came out and said it; "you're lying!"
What a soul crushing thing to say! Since then, you made sure that you had your story straight before you opened your mouth. Which means that a lot of the time you just keep your mouth shut.
Whether it's your deeper fear, shame or your wildest fantasy, you deserve to to be heard.
