I'm in my 40s, an intern working on my Master's of Social Work, and a homeschool mom to a teenage son.
My "day job" is working as an addiction counselor and I am certified for mental health peer support in my state, but those services are a little beyond the purpose of this site.So here we'll listen and support, but cannot give advice or counseling.

She has been really great at listening and seems to care a lot. Part of why I am here is I feel like people don't listen and dismiss me when I am upset or worried about something and she has been talking and reassuring me and helping me feel like someone cares for once.
