...See more I wish I could sing your song one more time  The one you’d sing along with every night  Now the words lay alone in your mind Just in your mind It was so sudden but I know you’re not blind And I know you know neither was I But I hope you know how hard I tried How long I did truly try A thousand hands can’t count all the times That I loved you with all my might And I wish I could squeeze you so tight Just one more time The next time you hear howling at night And look up to the moon there so bright Though your heart may feel dark I hope you can see me in the light It won’t be just the moon It’s me there for you Singing your last lullaby
