...See more I was referred by someone a barely know, but have been providing each other support on another forum. He mentioned how this place exhibited the best about people and was accepting. I like to think I am largely a good person, but recently created a mess for myself by doing something regrettable. I'm struggling with a good deal of self-hate and guilt stemming from this event, but am hoping to use it to grow into a better person. In just browsing this forum, I'm reassured of the good nature of many people, which is support in itself. I'm hoping to immerse myself more this week, hopefully seek counsel and look to return the favor when I am in a better place.
