My name is Ryan and I am a first year at the University of Virginia. I would like to pursue a career in government and legislature, so I feel it necessary to understand the problems of the people in our country. For this reason, I want to listen to and work with as many people as possible to get a better idea of what people want. Throughout my life, I have struggled with familial issues, weight control difficulty, and periods of mental health problems. Despite these obstacles, I feel as though I am in a place now where I can help other people. In my free time, I like to work out, volunteer, and spend time with my friends and loved ones.
