Bio

Hi, I go by Soul and Science because I believe we need both empathy (Soul) and understanding (Science) to heal.

I am a mature listener, a Psychology student, and a former corporate professional. I have navigated my own major life transitions and believe that every struggle has a deeper meaning.

I offer a calm, grounded, and non-judgmental space where you can unburden your thoughts. I am here to listen, not to fix, but to walk beside you with patience and respect.

...See more I was recently flipping through an old journal and found a note I wrote the first time I watched P.S. I Love You. I decided to re-watch it today, and it felt like a total breath of fresh air. I'm looking for more stories that hit home. What is your favorite love story? Drop a recommendation and I’ll add it to my watchlist.

The Story: The Tight Shoes
General Support / by SOULANDSCIENCE
Last post
February 1st
...See more The community gathering was loud, filled with laughter and music. But in the center of it, a young couple struggled. Their 11-month-old daughter had been crying for hours. No matter what they did—feeding, rocking, distracting—the wailing didn't stop. As the night wore on, the parents’ worry turned into sharp irritation. They felt judged by the crowd and frustrated that their evening was "ruined." They saw her crying as a demand, a disruption. Eventually, exhausted by her own tears, the little soul fell into a heavy, fitful sleep. When the father carried her to bed, he reached down to pull off her tiny shoes. He froze. The stiff leather had been digging deep into her soft skin. Her small toes were red and bruised. She hadn't been "difficult"; she had been in pain. She had no words to say, "Daddy, my feet hurt," so she used the only language she had. The father sat in the dark, overwhelmed by a crushing guilt. He had met her cry for help with anger because he was too busy looking at his own convenience to see her suffering. In this world, we often play both roles. Sometimes, we are the father: reacting in irritation to someone’s 'noise,' failing to look beneath the surface to see where it hurts. Other times, we are the little girl: trapped in circumstances we can't explain, hurting in silence, and eventually falling asleep exhausted because no one understood our pain. Before we react to the 'crying' in others—or even in ourselves—let’s look for the shoes that might be too tight.

...See more                                   Friendly reminder for the community today Your peace is a priority. Sometimes, NO is the most therapeutic word in your vocabulary. Saying no isn't selfish; it's a 'YES' to your mental well-being. I’m curious ,when was the last time you set a firm boundary or said NO, and how did it change your energy for the rest of the day? Stay peaceful, everyone! ✨
