I am a very kind straight shooter. My method is rooted in asking you questions, lots of them. As an AA pro I can only listen actively and honestly if you are too. With my addiction history I learned long ago that you cannot help someone who does not want to be helped. That's when I hit the "eject". I moderate and online support forum for sober alcoholics with more than a year of sobriety. In our "parent subreddit" there are 23,000 subscribed. What I have learned from my personal experience as an active addict and a sober addict is that if someone brings to the table honesty and willingness there is little we can't accomplish.
