I am genuinely glad you are here. The 7cups community is unique and has helped me grow in difficult moments. I listen because I am a better person when I am out of my head and practicing compassion for others. I was the youngest child of four, which tends to bend one toward helping and I am an INFP according to the Myers Briggs type indicator, which is the Healer subtype and I always found that funny. I am intrigued by other peoples' experiences. I am blown away when someone chooses to share how they thrived through struggles. We are all capable of such wonders. I am respectful of other's belief systems and rejoice in their spiritual practice especially if it is different from my own. I am honored when others chose to share their struggles and joy and humbled to learn what they have to share.
My schedule right now means that I have more time for offline requests than online. If you catch me online don't hesitate to message me. Other than that I will reply to messages as quickly as possible.
Awareness of male survivors of sexual assault is a topic of special importance to me. I am a male survivor of sexual assault. It is a delicate issue and men often feel isolated and alone in their struggle toward healing. I am happy to listen to any member with similar issues as long as you agree to accept referrals should you become too distressed with our conversation. I want you to have the best help possible and all the help you deserve in your path toward healing.
