...See more Hello everyone, I'm new to the depression forum. I've been a member of 7cups for about a month now, but haven't used the forums that much. My therapist has suggested that I try out the forums as a way to connect and talk about my experiences with anxiety and depression, so here I am. I've struggled with anxiety and depression for a long time and have always tried to "handle" it myself. I believed I could, but now I realize it was taking a toll on me mentally, physically, and socially. My stubbornness was creating a barrier to my wellness and I had to get over myself. I decided that my resolution for 2019 was to take care of myself and one way I was going to do that was to seek help for my anxiety and depression, so here I am on 7cups. I'm looking forward to meeting new people, connecting with others, and working hard on my path to wellness.
