Hi, My name is Sam, I am an ex soldier, and working on a psychology major.
I enjoy hiking, late nights and listening to people.
I have a past history of family problems that have molded me into becoming a better me.
I have past many trials in my life and i look forward to trying to help others get over there mountain peaks.

...See more I'm writing in order to extend a hand to other soldiers, vets and family of soldiers. I recently got out of the army not long ago, and for the last 4 years i strongly identified myself as being a soldier. For a moment accept the idea, of a total and massive identity crisis.  These feeling quickly changed to depression and a slight case of anxiety. My therapist broke down my problems with me and i came down to a few basic questions. What was there before the army, What did the army add. and lastly WHAT NOW. After running down the list and working on my tad of PTSD - experience of war isnt so pretty-  I found that i can keep going on. I can be strong! I want you guys to know, regardless of what you went though that there is hope, dont let the sadness over take you. I like that he didn't give me the answers to my questions. He had me reflect on my own inner self. I knew what I wanted to do. I just needed someone to prompt the answers out of me to get me out of my funk. As a first timer to this site I will have to say, what a saving grace. No matter how big my vent seemed at the time, he helped me realize that I was okay.
