I'm sure a few of you will enjoy gaming and it's many formats.  In October 1958, Physicist William Higinbotham created what is thought to be the first video game. It was a very simple tennis game, similar to the classic 1970s video game Pong, and it was quite a hit at a Brookhaven National Laboratory open house. What is gaming?  Gaming is playing an electronic video game, which is often done on a dedicated gaming console, PC or smartphone. People who often play video games are called gamers. Gaming is an extremely popular activity worldwide. The number of people who play games is estimated to be over 3 billion. Some estimates put the worldwide gaming market value between $180 billion and $220 billion in 2022. This is about double the market for the global film industry. The majority of the gaming market is people playing games on their smartphones. ...See more On November 5th every year in Great Britain we have an event called Bonfire or Guy Fawkes night. In Great Britain, Bonfire Night is associated with the tradition of celebrating the failure of Guy Fawkes' actions on 5 November 1605. The British festival is, therefore, on 5 November. It is celebrated by lighting bonfires and having firework displays.  Now onto some fun crafty ideas to make your bonfire night light up!  Make your own mini tea light bonfire [Image of mini tea light bonfire. It is made with three medium sized branches tied together in a triangular shape, with an LED tealight covered in bits of stuck on tissue paper to represent the flames] What you will need:  * Red, orange and yellow tissue paper sheets  * LED tea light  * Double sided tape  * Sticks or branches  * Twine or string  How to Make:  * Cut approximately ten little raindrop shapes out of the red, orange and yellow tissue paper sheets. * Cut a strip of double sided tape, wrap it around the edge of the LED tealight and peel off the top layer to make it sticky. Then stick the tissue paper shapes around the tealight, slightly overlapping each one. * Take two of the branches or sticks and hold together in a triangular shape. Then use the twine or string to tie the ends of these two branches together at the top. * Add a third branch to the two branches that you tied together, and angle it so that it is pointing away from the others. Then use the twine to attach them all together. * Place the branches on top of the tealight as shown in the picture  Fireworks in a jar What you will need:  * An empty clean glass jar  * Some oil  * Water  * Your choice of food colouring How to make:  Begin by cleaning a glass jar and filling it three quarters full with warm water. ...See more Hey everyone! Geocaching may be a lesser known hobby to you all, but an interesting one nonetheless. If you haven't heard of geocaching before, you've come to the right place!  The first Geocache was hidden on May 3rd of 2000 in Oregon, United States by Dave Ulmer, with instructions that finders "Take some stuff, leave some stuff." Little did he know, by doing so, he was creating a new worldwide hobby. Now, more than 20 years later, there are over 3 million active geocaches and over 6 million geocachers around the world. So what is geocaching?  Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a Global Positioning System receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called geocaches or caches, at specific locations marked by coordinates all over the world.  Questions Have you heard of geocaching before? Have you ever been geocaching? Did you enjoy it? It goes a follows: There are seven houses; In each house there are seven cats; Each cat catches seven mice; Each mouse would have eaten seven ears of corn; If sown, each ear of corn would have produced seven hekat of grain. How many things are mentioned altogether? The answer is very ambiguous and could be one of 9 different answers.
