...See more I saw my ghost lurking in my past regrets The body I once buried, It looked at me with surprise in its eyes, A flicker of regret peeking from the shadows. She dragged herself toward me, Fingers trembling as they touched my hands, Expecting scars, But finding them healed, glowing in a way she never imagined. She held my hands in silent awe, And whispered, "I'm glad you killed me." Her limbs still bound to the pain, Anchored to the place I used to hate. Tears welled in my eyes, Not for who she was, But for who she could never be. Guilt approached, but I didn’t stay. I walked away, then ran. Then my pace quickened, Leaving her behind, In the graveyard of my past self. I was born after I was killed. A life reclaimed, held firmly in my hands. A promise whispered to the wind, To fulfill the purpose she never could. And now, every morning, She stares at me from the mirror, Not haunting, But proud, to the moon and back. My reflection smiles, It has been freed. ...See more Dear competitor Wherever you are,I wish you well You are unnamed,I hope you dwell In happiness, the joy in yourself I wish you find the peace that you are looking for I wish you well. I hope you find the security in yourself I haven’t found mine yet I am not worth your envy Your agony,your misery My mind wonders,My fingers linger Over the spoon that I am supposed to eat It has been days,I have been starving my soul and my body It has been days,I haven’t slept well on my own. Pills help me or harm me, nevermind My hope shattered,my heart scattered all over The voices in my head grows stronger and stronger I can’t concentrate, I can’t do anything anymore. My mind’s a catastrophe ,I am helping myself Saving me from myself The tapping of the pen,the striking of the ink On a paper that’s smoother than my skin I jot down, yet it won’t come out I know the answer ,I swear I just couldn’t get it out. Pass through me,pass by me I wish you find whatever you are hoping for  I wish you well I don’t take your envy,I will wash it with my kindness I hope you get better soon,I hope you find the peace that you deserve But I won’t, I am not the one who you should compare yourself to Competitor dearest,let me go.     Sincerely, Sonia. This is an emotional poem that I wrote when a person whom I thought was my friend turned out to be jealous and competitive when I was going through a lot.Exams are stressful especially when you have to battle your own storms in life. This Poem not only show empathy but kindness for the person who envy and hates you!

...See more I would have never known the beauty of rainbow if I didn’t wait through the Rain I would have never known the serenity of the sea if I didn’t wait through the storms I would have never known value of honesty if I have never been lied to I would have never known strength if I haven’t been through pain. Pain is nature, a beautiful disaster The more disappointed I feel, the bigger Things that will await for me On the other side which few people seem to see After the tides comes the serene sea. To see the beauty of life, I must first see Pain, an inevitable journey of me. The most important thing that we must do is to accept when things are finally turning around and becoming better.Self harming will always end in g repetition and guilt.
