Laxative abuse?

...See more Hey so I wanted to quit using laxatives (lax) because I am dependent on them and use 10-12 every few days but since I decided to quit I have increased my usage and am now up to 18 every few days, probably steming from being scared of change and if I decrease my lax usage then I am afraid my other eating disorder symptoms will worsen. Any tips or tricks you use to stop?
