I am a very giving person who is able to listen to others in times of need. I have a very full past of issues and troubles that I've continually had to work out on my own. I believe this gives me the ability to help others, yet know when not to give unsolicited advice, yet to just be an ear and/or a shoulder to let the individual vent. My nature thrives on helping those in need. I, however, do not believe our lives are guided or ruled by God. I do believe in a higher power. I just don't believe that entity treats us like a puppet. Therefore, I will never, ever lead an individual down a path of making them believe someone out there is controlling them. Being able to be a listener allows me to also regulate, understand, and keep in perspective my own daily issues. All I want to do is help people. There is way too much judgement in this world and way too much open opinionated feedback. We all need all the help we can get these days.
