Hi! My name is Anita, and I've been working in social services and support for nearly 8 years now. I've mostly worked with complex cases focused on substance/alcohol abuse and emotional health issues, but also have a lot of (both professional and personal) experience with Anxiety/Panic Attacks. I absolutely love my job but know from personal experiences how difficult it can be to try to 'heal and recover' when you feel as if you can't reach out to the services available to support you. Having experienced traumatic childhood events myself, I know how scary professional support may seem at first. Maybe it's not the time, or maybe you're not in a position to look for professional support (yet) which is why I'm hoping to reach out to you who need a listening ear without any attachments whatsoever.
