...See more My girlfriend and I of 1 year broke up almost a week ago. I have been in relationships before where I ended it and where the other person ended it. This one just seems to sting worse then any other one. We talked about marriage and her moving in with me. On Saturday she told me she wished I was with her when she was out with her girlfriends on their night out. 3 days later she just ends it. When she broke up with me I didnt say much. I told her that I loved her but I wouldnt beg her to stay with me if she didnt want to be with me.she told me she loved me too. I wished her luck and told her I hoped she finds what she was looking for. She said the same thing but with a bit of an attitude. Parts of me wished I would have said more and expressed more on what I felt. Before the breakup she told me that she had a conversation with her mother, my ex-girlfriend is in her early 40s. And her mother said that their were red flags with me. I didnt tell her I loved her at the 10 month mark and a few other things. I asked her if she could keep some stuff between us private and not tell her mother everything we talk about. She told me that she needed to get validation for certain things. She told me that I was worth it and worth being with. But after she spoke to her mother she appeared to change. It feels like her mother filled her head with doubt or made the doubt bigger if she already had it. I obviously still have feelings for her. At times I want to reach out and let her know what I wanted to say the day we broke up but failed to do. I feel if I reach out too early she will blow off any request and not listen. Any helpful advice would be appreciated.
