...See more I moved home to work on the family farm a year ago and now my uncle wants to screw my family out of land. It’s been really stressful seeing my grandpa and his brother fight, it also leaves me unsure if I’ll have a job in the future. He says it’s not fair how the land is going to be split up from my great grandma and thinks he deserves more. If he takes that extra away from my grandpa and dad there doesn’t leave a lot of extra room financially for me and my brother to continue farming. And there isn’t a lot I can personally do about it expect watch my family farm get tore apart and it’s really taking a toll on me and my mental health. I’ve starting using nicotine, and my low self esteem is just building. I often feel like I never deserved the chance to farm from the get go. Just got lucky I was born into it. I know those thoughts are probably just in my head but it really sucks to constantly think that way.
