Desperate for Marriage?

...See more Hello Everyone, Today, a friend of mine expressed that I’m desperate for love/marriage. I was offended by the comment and I didn’t understand the root of my anger/hurt. I couldn’t grasp the reason I was so mad. Is it possible that my friend was correct? Is it possible that my friend confuses my desire for love as desperation? I don’t know the answer to either question and I wish to figure it out. Since a teenager, I wanted to be loved and married. I correlated happiness with marriage. I always wanted someone to love me and desire me forever. I desire marriage so much because it displays to ME that I’m worthy and that someone thinks I’m special. It demonstrates that someone truly cares for me. I’m currently in a new relationship (three months) and we’re already discussing marriage. Also, I moved in with my boyfriend within a three month span. I have several questions for everyone and would be so grateful for guidance: Do you think I’m desperate for marriage? Do you think I’m moving too fast?
