Hate brings hate, brings hate...

But, love brings love, brings love...

Forgive, pardon, and overlook. Make our enemies our friends!

Wouldn't you want that from your Lord?

But none can do that except those with bestowed with tremendous amount of good.

So when pain comes, ask Him:

"My Lord, help us get through this, remove this pain, shower us in your mercy, make this pain a means to get closer to you,

Bring us out of the darkness into your light, heal the injuries we have sustained - completely. Keep our hearts open and soft.

We are weak, strengthen us. We are lost, guide us. We are in difficulty, lift our burdens,

Help us deal with our situations with mercy, grace and beauty. Place light and love in our hearts.

Forgive, pardon and overlook them as we would want from you. Remove the enmity from our hearts.

And grant us Yourself and the Qur'aan as sufficient companions, friends, and protectors in this world and the next.

For those that plot against us, my Lord, show us the solutions and help us defuse them.

Make these situations like turning a page in a book: learned, processed with no remaining wounds.

To the one whose wisdom, mercy and plans prevails in all circumstances:

Always inspire us with prayers, gratitude, beneficial actions and all other good things.

By all your beautiful names and your majestic face we turn to and seek.

I ask You for perseverance in all my affairs,

and I ask You for the determination to stay on the straight and narrow path.

O Lord, accept our prayers and grant us the wisdom and strength to use them in ways pleasing to You.

Ameen, a thousand, a thousand, times over."

Allah has given a general ruling that whoever does not have faith

and does not belong to the people of truth and patience, is in a state of loss.

This means that the only true winner are people of patience:

“By (the Token of) Time (through the Ages), verily Man is in loss, except such as have Faith, and do right actions, and (join together) in mutualteaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.” (al-’Asr 103:1-3)

Perfecting knowledge and actions perfects oneself and religion.

Perfecting oneself allows the one to be a means of perfection of others in the mutual teaching of the truth.

The foundation of all this is patience.
