...See more In October my boyfriend threatened to hit me. Just before covid hit he decided to retire and I was the one bringing home the bacon. Which was fine the thing that was not fine was coming home to him drunk every night. So for a few months he would start these drunken fights with me every time I got home. One day he didn't like the way I was eating my steak so he slapped the plate off the table and started yelling at me, chased me into the back room, told me to not feel safe around him, he barged back in the room and said if I didn't lock the door he would give me a reason to cry. We have been dating for six years we met when I was 21 and he was 38. I moved out but we're still together. He said he's been working on not drinking but he will still call me drunk and tell me how he is done with me and our relationship and that I'm a bitch for leaving.
