...See more Hi, I just want to explain everything that happened. I had a really close friend who I never doubted. I always supported her, encouraged her, and made sure she knew how much I appreciated her. But suddenly, she distanced herself and blocked me on one platform without an explanation. When I reached out to ask why, she told me that my reposts were triggering for her. But when I looked back at them, they were mostly about body positivity and mental health, and I never intended to hurt her. Later, when she finally explained, she made it seem like I was the problem in our friendship—that I wasn’t giving as much as she was and that she was waiting for me to listen when I didn’t even know something was wrong. It felt unfair because if she had these feelings for so long, why didn’t she just tell me? Instead, she acted like everything was fine and then suddenly shut me out. I tried to fix things, but every time we talked, she would say things that hurt me more. I kept holding on, hoping we could work it out, but I realized she had already made up her mind. In the end, I sent her a long message explaining my side and telling her I never meant to hurt her. Then I blocked her before she could respond because I knew her reply would only make me feel worse. At first, I felt relieved, but now, months later, I still don’t feel okay. I keep wondering if I overreacted or if I should have handled things differently. I don’t know if I made the situation bigger than it needed to be, or if I was right to feel the way I did. I just want to move on, but I don’t know how. And I feel like the bad person I feel so sad she made me feel so okay and she would always tell me to vent but tbh I never did but why now she tells me I’m triggering???
