...See more I haven't posted in a while. Does anyone here have any experience tapering and/weaning off antidepressants? I found a site called surviving antidepressants.com but there is surprisingly little information about it online. It's really the only medication doctors have but they are just so hard to go on and off of and I don't think many doctors realize that. Any tips, thoughts, ideas where to find support welcome and thank you :)

...See more I have been wanting to post this. Finally. A book review for This Naked Mind, Control Alcohol; Find Freedom, Discover Happiness, & Change Your Life by Annie Grace (2018). I recently finished this and loved it. It covers the latest neuroscience of alcohol addiction, the authors personal journey to sobriety, and what sobriety looks and feels like for her. Alcohol is a drug that is addictive. Society tells us to drink it to relax and to have fun at every turn. This book is relatable, it relays the science of alcohol dependence, and details why you likely dont need or even want it. I have struggled with alcohol the past 6 years. It came out of the blue and I assumed it was a phase. I found this book tremendously helpful on my sober path and it could help you too :))) Warmest wishes.
