...See more Hello people, 2023 is going to end very soon. At this stage, I think, I should go through the events of the year and make plan for the next year.  At the beginning of the year I was not very hopeful about it. I thought it would be a year that I want to pass very quickly. But to my utmost surprise, I have achieved some notable things.  I have been living far from my hometown for last five years for job purposes. I used to miss my home and family very much. I tried very hard to come back to my hometown and this year my employer transferred me to my hometown. I think this is the best thing happened to me this year. I got my well deserved promotion this year too. Getting a promotion has become troublesome in the company I am working in and I was a bit tensed that I might miss the promotion and wait longer for it. But the management acknowledged my contributions and promoted me!! Last but not the least, I became an uncle this year. My brother had a baby girl a couple of months ago and to me, she is the sweetest girl alive!! My heart becomes instantly happy just by looking at her face.  There are some other things that are mentionable too but I think I will make another thread to share those.  Please share your achievements of the year with me too so that I can get motivated to make my next year even better than this year.   With love, Tareq ☺️

I am going to call it 'Self Love' Series and this is part 1.  As human being, none of us are perfect. We all have mostly good qualities with a pinch of other things in us. Today we are going to talk about all the good things about us.  I think we all have somethings that we love about ourselves. Such as, I am a punctual and committed guy. I love to be on time and fulfill my commitments. It gave me so many rewards in my professional life.  I think you have something that you love about yourself too. I have talked to a lot of Introverts and almost all of them have a hobby they love to do all by themselves. If I remember correctly, most of them are bookworms. Others liked writing, gardening, painting or spending time with their pets. But recently I have noticed that most of us are spending more time online rather than doing offline stuff as hobby. What can be the reasons behind that? 🤔🤔 I, myself, love to read fictions or come to this site to talk to people!! ☺️☺️   What about you guys? ...See more Hello people, Today I saw my nephew got ready to go to school in a rush. Watching him in a school dress made me remember my school life. I was a jolly type of kids back then. Everything was beautiful and amiable. The most beautiful part of my school life is my friend. It was a small neighborhood back then and we used to know everyone. We all played together and studied together.  At this stage of life I have lost many of my part friends. Many of them left the locality, some of them died.  At that stage I didn't know the true value of friendship or the hardship waiting for my future life. I think I should have spent more time with my friend back then and cherish the golden part of life.  I am creating this thread to express my gratitude to my lost friends. 'I love you all and pray for your happiness. Please remember me when you think about your childhood. May be one day we will meet at a tea stall and have a cup of tea remembering our sweet times. Till then, stay happy and stay healthy.'

...See more Hello people, I don't know why I am creating this thread but for some days I am wondering about our actualization of life. Generally we divide our life stages by age and expect people to respond to different aspects according to their age. But I think there should be more than that. Every person's life is different than others like our fingerprints. Actualizing the value of life is different to everyone. Some grow more matured at early stages, some wish to act childish indifferent to their age. Perspectives of life is different to us too. Some of us live to help others, some of us wants to help but can't for many reasons and there are some who are nonchalant to others needs. Some of us live to prosper when some struggle to live every other day.  People's judgement varies too. People express different notions to a specific matter. I wonder why we are so different but living under the same sky!!
