Some say life is a battleground. Some say life is a stage, oops, that's Shakespeare.
But I would like to think of life as a vast span of land. And that land is embellished with green grass, a lovely little cottage, colourful flowers, butterflies and bees humming, a little stream gurgling by. There are little birds roaming on a sunny day. And sudddenly, out of nowhere, a grey-black vast mass of cloud covers the sky and the bright sun. Thunderstorms. Lightning. Heavy rain. And then, everything gets quiet. And upset. The mass of cloud, now having brought down to earth as rain, is no more, freeing the way for another day of bright and sunny sun. The rain, as gray and gloomy it's arrival looks like, brings life with it. Rejuvenating nature, it goes back to the sky only to return in its pompous way some other day.
And just like that, my dear friend, the sunny day in your life is right behind the mass of cloud. The powerful rain and thunderstorm roaring in your life right now, will go away leaving you to be touched by the fresh rays of the bright sun. The thunderstorm in your life is a sign that you're alive. That there's life in you. All you need now is a safe shelter to protect yourself from the cold you'd get if you get drenched in the rain.
Being a Listener, I want you to hold my hand and let me be that shelter for you in your rainy days. Share with me your load, and if not remove it, I'll take it along with you.
PS: Don't let yourself catch a cold!
