...See more The sad thing about binge eating is not the act itself but the repercussions. In my case, the first bully I encountered was my mom. She used to tell other people things that has lowered my self-esteem throughout these years. And since she is my mom and I cannot tell her that she is wrong, everything I felt was internalized. I hated myself and suffered from depression and anxiety. I know I need help but my psychotherapist does not know how to help me. She just told me to cook my own food so that I could somehow have less appetite to eat which is really not working. I tried cooking in the past but it really did not help me. I hope no innocent child would experience what I have experienced as a child.
